Brian arrived in Camden in July 2013.  He was previously appointed as the Associate Pastor at Clanton First United Methodist church for five years.  He earned his Bachelors Degree from Excelsior College and recently completed his Master of Divinity Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Brian has a passion for small groups and helping people to grow in their relationship with others and with God.  He enjoys fishing, scuba diving, and riding his motorcycle. 

Brian has been married to Linda (Caraker) Dovey for 30 years.  They have two daughters, Renee’ and Elizabeth, and a grandson, Wynn.
