"Three Notch Road Fall Festival"
 October 29th & 30th at Blue Lake
Please plan to go and have fun!

This is going to be a fun event for the entire family. If you have not been to Blue Lake in a while this is the ideal time to go. Adults and children will find plenty of things to do.

I, dressed up like Methodist circuit rider Sam Jones, encourage everyone to come dressed in costume. We will have costume contests for all ages, games, hayrides, reenactors to portray Martin Luther and Susanna Wesley. Bring your instruments to jam in our Bluegrass Gospel band. There will be a flea market, trade days, and craft fair in the gymnasium (so bring your stuff to sell and trade).

I am the chairperson of the Alabama-West Florida Conference Archives and History Commission. I have worked with the conference historical society to make this festival truly enjoyable for all ages. Folks from any church affiliation are welcome to attend.

I hope that some of our Camden UMC and Canton Bend UMC folks will take this opportunity to go as a group...sort of a church retreat. As the pastor I would greatly appreciate your presence at the "Three Notch Road Fall Festival."

As circuit rider Sam Jones, I will preach "Fighting with the Devil." See you there! The picture at the top of this Pastor's Pen was taken at Annual Conference at Frazer UMC on June 8th where I put in a plug for the "Three Notch Road Fall Festival!"
